I am currently planning a trip to Japan in March and i want to eat the best food - any recommendations on places I should not miss out?
If you happen to be in Kyoto, I highly recommend this place. It is a small restaurant but they have an insanely good okonomiyaki and cold beer from the tap
In Tokyo, head to Shinjuku City, walk around and try the 100’s of street restaurants there. The name of the game there is to have a dish and perhaps a beer at each different restaurant. They all only have a few things on the menu and the specialise on certain dishes, so you find one that you like, try a few things, have a beer and move to the next place.
For Ramen, you can go pretty much anywhere but this place, also in Shinjuku is awesome
