Heading to Osaka next April for 3 nights and food is the whole point of the stop. Every guide says go to Dotonbori but every experienced traveler says it’s a tourist trap with overpriced takoyaki. So which is it?
Where do locals actually go for the best street food? I’ve heard Shinsekai mentioned and also some of the shotengai shopping arcades. I’ll eat literally anything so no restrictions. Just want the real deal, not a prettied up version for tourists. Any specific stalls or tiny restaurants you’d recommend?
