Looking for hotel recs in Amsterdam that are genuinely design-focused and in the Jordaan specifically. I don’t want the big canal-ring hotels (too stuffy and too expensive for what you get) and obviously not the backpacker party places.
Thinking small, maybe 20-40 rooms, architect-y interiors, good coffee in the lobby, staff who actually know the neighborhood. Something where the design itself is part of why you picked it, if that makes sense.
Going with my partner in early June for 4 nights, budget is around 350 euro a night. Not asking for the sun and moon, just a place that feels like someone cared when they made it. Any TourRadar folks or forum regulars have a place they keep going back to?
