Cheapest place to fly into Europe for a backpacker trip

Hi all, I am a backpacker and I don’t really have that many things I need to have a good trip.

I love experiencing new cultures and travelling so that is enough to be happy. I’m flexible on where I start. What is the cheapest place to fly into Europe right now from the US/East Coast? And once I’m there, what do you travellers suggest I visit on the cheaper side for ~2 weeks? I was thinking maybe Portugal or Central Europe but open to suggestions where my dollar will go further.

Probably fly in to London, because of all the flights (but don’t quote me on that).

Dublin (Ireland), Lisbon (Portugal), or Reykjavik (Iceland) could have budget-friendly flights due to airlines like Aer Lingus, TAP Air Portugal, and Icelandair offering competitive fares.

However, you will then need connecting flights to where you want to go.

Not being funny, but just decide on where you want to go and then organise your flights.

If you want to make your dollar go further, go to Albania.
