Hi! 4 of us (adults) are looking to go to either Morocco or Egypt in either Feb or March. From the UK, the flights are cheaper to Morocco, but hotels seems more expensive there than Egypt. We want to travel around to different destinations while we’re there. We generally travel and eat mid range, don’t need luxury and I want to find out other than hotels and flights, what we might need to budget for.
I’m wondering, for general daily costs, like food, entrance fees to historical sites, transport etc - which country is most economical? And does anyone know a rough daily budget for each country (excluding accommodation)?

Out of my own experience, Egypt was more budget-friendly, with the food “cheap”, and the tour that I was on was much cheaper than the one I went on in Morocco.
Morocco surprised me with how expensive the food and the accommodation were! The prices were similar or equal to Europe prices.
