Spending money in Morocco

Hello,

I’d like to know how much other people budgeted for their trips to Morocco, so I can be sure I’ve set aside enough.

I’m taking a tour for a week, so accommodation and transportation are covered, but I’ll need to pay for lunches and dinners. I’m also heading to Essaouira afterwards for a few days, and my accommodation has already been paid for, so I’ll just need to cover food, activities and transportation.

I don’t really plan on doing a whole lot of shopping as I’m more into experiences, so I would be grateful if anyone could share some insights on how much they put aside for a 7-10 day trip that covers food, transportation and entrance fees to certain sites. Thanks!

Following this topic because I’ll also be traveling to Morocco this October and I’m curious about realistic daily budgets too. I’m much more interested in experiences and local food than shopping, so it’s really helpful to hear what people actually ended up spending during their trips.
