Hi there, I’m a big fan of Indian food, and I would like to visit India to taste the original flavours of the country. Can somebody recommend the best places to taste the most authentic dishes from India? I really love spicy food.

I would definitely recommend trying Biryani, Dosa and South Indian Thali in Hyderabad.
Delhi has some great north indian food.

Oh man where to begin! Indian food is so incredible, and I think each region has their own separate cuisine. I’ve seen Intrepid do a food tour from New Delhi to Goa which gives you an amazing variety of styles, while ticking off some of the bucket list tourist attractions (hello Taj Mahal!);

If you love spicy food, you’re in for a real treat. Every region has it’s own unique flavors.
I would recommend Vada pav from Mumbai, Delhi chat and Aloo Parathas from Delhi, Dal Bhaati Churma from Rajasthan and my favourite Pani Puri and Gujarati Thali from Gujarat. 
And if you like to enjoy some Indian sweets - Gulab Jamun, Rabdi and Rasugolla.

The dosa’s were my favourite (I was in Kolkata) - it like a savoury pancake that has different types of curried fillings and chutneys/dips - delicious. The sweet and salty lime drinks I recommend too
