Best Place in Europe for a Foodie!

Where is your top place in Europe for a foodie to visit? Food is legitimately my favorite part of traveling and I love to try the local variations of different cuisine.
I’m not talking about going to Napoli for Pizza or France for Patisserie (which are valid trips in their own right!)
I’m looking for a melting pot of food and cuisine, like how London (eg. Borough Market) has incredible food from all over the world. I’ve had some of the best Indian food in London, and surprisingly amazing Vietnamese food in Prague!

I completely agree about the Indian food in London!!

Norther Spain, specifically San Sebastian, is my ultimate foodie destination! It’s not a melting pot of cuisine but they have a unique take on Tapas called Pintxos and it’s such a great dinning experience. 10/10 would recommend!

San Sebastian has been on my list since I watched that episode of Travel Man (Not sure if you’re familiar but it’s a show on in the UK where two comedians spend a weekend in a certain location)
The food looked incredible!

Definitely putting San Sebastian on my list! (also to maybe go watch a Real Sociedad football match :soccer_ball: )

Ah, yes, London’s food scene is so top-notch, especially for vegetarians and vegans! I recommend the Temple of Seitan in Camden. They do amazing burgers and chicken wings, and it’s all vegan!

Also, Prague might be my favorite hidden gem for foodies, again, great for vegetarian/vegan food. My favorite foodie spots: Lehká hlava (sort of a fusion kitchen, great burritos!) and Střecha (they veganize traditional Czech food).
