Travel and musics are 2 of my biggest passions, and combining them seems like a great idea!
A couple of years ago I went on a tour in USA - Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans across the music trail there. It was similar to this one. I absolutely loved it! Even though all I wasn’t necessarily into all types of music we saw (country!), the whole tour was based around music, recording studios, hall of fame, performances, Graceland - you name it! There were also some other very cool experiences like a cooking class in New Orleans and the MLK museum in Memphis, which is unmissable. But I loved the fact we were on a historical music trail and that was the prominent focus.
I’d love to know, has anyone else been on a music-themed tour anywhere else? Or do you know of certain regions or operators that specialise in music or art tours? I think it’s such a great idea!

Not sure about specific operators.
But I can recommend the ABBA museum in Stockholm!
London’s Camden Town are is home to lots of iconic bars and pubs like Dublin Castle, the Good Mixer.

I would recommend Dublin, possibly in combination with Liverpool (dorect flights between them) both Dublin and Liverpool has music museums with tours, and A LOT of pubs in Dublin do live music

That’s a great call @Plasticbrain, I would love to go to Dublin and see some live music there, I’ve never been there or Liverpool. Do you have any venues or pubs you recommend? And did you find much live music in Liverpool?
And thanks @DomiTravelini the ABBA Museum sounds pretty iconic, if I make it to Stockholm one day! Agree Camden has a lot of cool music venues (I used to live there many years ago!)

In Liverpool we did the eurovision final at night, so did not look for venues there, but it seems there are many. The one in Dublin we enjoyed nost was called edited “Darkey Kelly’s”, supossed to be haunted…

I love most types of music! That’s a great call, I’m actually going to Vienna in December! Have you seen any classical shows there yourself?
