Hi everyone,
I would really like to a share a recommendation for an activity you can (and should) do in Dublin, which is perfect if you have a few hours of free time during your group tour or if you’re travelling independently. It was actually recommended to me by one of my Irish friends, who said her whole family loved the experience.
Now that I’ve experienced it too, I have to agree.
Viking Splash entails boarding an aqua-duck, donning plastic Viking helmets and being driven around the city with a guide (dressed as a Viking, naturally), talks you through the history of the city, before a brief cruise down the Grand Canal.
Not only was it thoroughly informative and engaging, but the guide was hilarious. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland and something I recommend to everyone.
Definitely pop this one on your travel bucket list!
