Traveling with 2-year-old on organized tours

Has anyone with a young kid (2-3 years old) gone on an organized adventure with them? I’m trying to learn if they count as a full passenger or not… my guess would be that it’s dependent on the operator but I figured I’d ask Also, any recommendations for organized adventures that can include a 2-year-old would be greatly appreciated

we have sth for you and as per faq it depends on the operator, also if there’s child pricing available (guess why I know hahahaha) Best Family Tours & Adventures 2025/2026 - TourRadar

Usually they count as a full passenger, but as you mentioned depending on the operator or tour they can offer a discounted price due to accommodation (family room etc). Back in 2019 I went to a self-guided hiking tour with my family and we had to pay less for the kids (Both were younger than 6).

That depends a little bit on each operator. Europamundo for example offers child discounts. I don’t have any children, so unfortunately I can’t give you more information as to how it is going on an organized adventure with young children.

I went recently to Azores and I didn’t pay anything for my son (he was 2 at the time).
