Considering Savannah as a quick weekend trip instead of Charleston (which we’ve already done twice). Is it worth going just for a Friday to Sunday?
I’ve heard the historic district is super walkable and there’s great food, but I’m also reading that you can see everything in about 6 hours and then you’re just drinking on River Street. Is there enough to fill a proper weekend or will we run out of things by Saturday afternoon? We love architecture, cemeteries (the weird ones), and Southern food. Coming from Atlanta so it’s only a 4 hour drive.
