I’m travelling to Vienna for work in December, and would love to see some of the famous Christmas markets. I’m staying near Margareten area, and I’m looking for some markets in the evening.
Does anyone know which ones are best /easy to get to from that area and which are open in the evenings?
The most famous ones to visit are the Christmas market in front of City Hall (central location, easy access with trams and metro line U2) and Schönbrunn Palace (take the metro U4).

These markets get super crowded, though, and can feel overwhelming at times, so if you want a more cozy vibe, I recommend the xmas market at Türkenschanzpark

I definitely like to avoid the crowds where I can I can so might check out your Türkenschanzpark recommendation one night
