Baltic Germany tips - Hamburg, Kiel, Lübeck, Sylt?

Has anyone been to the Baltic region of northern Germany? If so, whatcha know about the cities of Hamburg, Kiel, Lübeck, and Sylt?
I’ll be headed there starting today, and I’ll be spending a day/night in each city.
I’d love to hear all about your favorite hole in the wall bars, mom and pop restaurants, and cozy little bakeries.

I used to live in Hamburg, it’s an incredible city to visit, my favorite in Germany.
Places that I would recommend to visit
Planten un blomen - A beautiful park, my favorite one
Hamburg Rathaus - City hall
Elbphilharmonie
You can go there for an incredible view from Hamburg, the entrance to mezzanine is free of charge
Miniatur Wunderland
In Hamburg, as you like bakeries you should definitely try a Franzbrotchen

I have also visited Lübeck a few times, quite cozy and easy to go around, they are famous for their Marzipan Sweet, they are all over the place.
Personally, I don’t like that much marzipans, but you should try it.

I spent some time in Lübeck a while ago and it’s a super small and quaint place. Definitely have to recommend the Marzipan Museum and café Niederegger, but that is what is is known for (and only if you like Marzipan). We went to Brauberger Zu Lübeck which had a nice vibe for a drink and some food.
Otherwise, I think you can’t go wrong in the centre for a cute cafe or bakery.

when you’re in Lübeck you should definitely try my uncles ice cream shop: https://www.tripadvisor.de/Restaurant_Review-g187413-d8549030-Reviews-Soulmade-Lubeck_Schleswig_Holstein.html i’m biased but its incredible . delicious pastries and coffee as well!

I hit up the Elbphilharmonie and Rathaus in Hamburg and also Niederegger Marzipan Museum in Lübeck. The marzipan coffee was simply decadent! Oh, and the ice cream rec! All winners!
