Planning a trip to Vegas for a friend’s 40th. We want to see shows and eat good food but we really hate the smoky casino vibe and the noise. Are there any nice hotels actually ON the strip that don’t have a casino on the ground floor? I know about Vdara but are there others? We just want a quiet lobby to come back to without walking through a maze of slot machines, but we don’t want to be miles away from the action either.
I believe the Vdara Hotel & Spa has no casino on site.
How about the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas?
It’s upscale, quiet, and luxurious with a peaceful lobby and excellent dining options. Located near the Aria and Bellagio, so close to the Strip’s main attractions.
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is situated on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay tower but operates as a separate hotel with no casino access from the lobby. Smoke-free, quiet, and very upscale. Still on the Strip, but slightly toward the south end.
W Las Vegas is a non-gaming hotel, also part of the Mandalay Bay complex with a separate entrance. Quiet, smoke-free, and stylish.
