First time in Germany, solo, arriving into MUC around 10am on a Thursday and leaving Friday evening. So basically a day and a half. What would you absolutely not skip?
I’ve got Marienplatz and the glockenspiel on my list, obviously. Thinking I could do the English Garden in the afternoon, see the surfers at Eisbach, then dinner at a classic beer hall (Hofbrauhaus seems touristy but is it still worth it once?). Next morning I was going to do either the Residenz or Nymphenburg Palace, not both.
Is Dachau doable as a half day or would that eat the whole visit? I don’t want to rush something like that out of respect but I also don’t know when I’ll be back. Tell me what I’m missing.
