Hey hey, has anyone done 5 fingers and Hallstatt in one day, traveling by train? And if only visiting Hallstatt, do you think 4.5h is enough, including salt mines?

Hallstatt is very small, so 1 day is definitely enough to visit it. I would definitely encourage you to visit the Beinhaus as well. According to the website the visit to the salt mines is about 3 hours, so it depends whether you want to spend more time in the town and its surroundings.

I did the Salt Mine tour and really enjoyed it so would deffs recommend doing it if you have time.
