Hi, Im a 40+ year old looking to take a trip through vietnam and saw Intrepid Travel and G Adventures had some great tours there. Has anyone been with one of these operators and which would you recommend?

Hey! I’ve travelled with both companies but not in Vietnam specifically. Both are going to be quite similar, small group, local guides all things we love! What I would look into more when comparing the two is the type of route and dates that you want to go on. Look at what options both have and pick the itinerary that works best with you!
One thing I would just keep an eye out on is accommodation, both offer a range from basic - comfort - luxury, so really just depends on what you prefer. You can take a look at it all in the ‘What’s Included’ section on TourRadar for each tour and it will give you a breakdown.

I would say, if both tours have a similar itinerary and both go to the spots you want to see, then it may come down to the accommodations and the pricing of these tours. Really try to go through the itinerary and ask yourself whether or not you may or may not experience this on the other tour. Moreover, some tours offer some activities like cooking classes or specific museum visits which you may find would elevate your trip. I highly recommend you read through what some of the optional activities will be and this will help you determine which will be the better tour.
