I’m looking to visit South Korea (Seoul specifically) and I’m wondering if anyone knows how well vegans or vegetarians are accommodated these days? I’ve checked some popular restaurants from TikTok but they all seem to be pretty meat-heavy. Are there any vegans/vegetarians that have travelled to SK and haven’t had a problem, or might have some recommendations on what to look out for?

I have not been to South Korea myself (but am veggie and travel a lot!).
Have you checked out Happy Cow? If you’re not familiar with the site, I highly recommend it, it has user generated recommendations and listings for vegan/veggie finds across the globe. You can also filter all vegan, all vegetarian, veg options etc.
It looks like there are 65 al vegan places in Seoul - so you should have plenty of options! Have fun
