My partner and I are thinking of going to Morocco in January, and we’re both vegan. I’m thinking of going into the desert, maybe on a short inexpensive tour, but I know food options will be limited and I’m not sure what we can expect (and also think it will be hard to bring sufficient food to the desert with us just in case). Has anyone had any experience travelling in Morocco as a vegan in general - or know much about the food there? Especially out in the Sahara? Are there any common dishes that seem to be accidentally vegan? Any advice on what to expect would be appreciated, and any info on a Sahara visit and what spots to include would be great too!

Hey @tony I haven’t been to Morocco myself (and not sure about the food options), but I saw this great detailed trip report about a tour that included the Sahara, and some great spots to consdier here: Morocco - my travel experience to this north African kingdom
