I would like to share a short paragraph of my experience in Tanzania.. I know, I know everyone says “ Africa was the trip of a lifetime” but it really was. I will always keep those memories close.
Seeing all those animals in their natural habitat was really unique. From seeing an elephant family bathing in a river to seeing small little cubs surrounded by their siblings. And what really stuck with me was the vastness and peace of those national parks. Kilometers of nothing but nature, animals and silence.
This is the part of the vacation where you sit and think “now I am really fully relaxed and in the moment”, which is one of the most important things.
To close the 10 days in Tanzania, after an eventful Safari, we relaxed at the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar - crystal clear waters and white sand.
@roann Love the question because usually i do not care too much about the accommodation but for this trip we wanted something nice and we choose lodges and let me tell you they were so beautiful - some even with pool My favorite one was a tented one in the middle of Serengeti - surrounded by wildlife. They were all in the mid range, not standard but also not super luxuries. For Zanzibar we choose a Hotel far from the big chain hotels and the main beach. Generally I heard that for Zanzibar you need to be careful on which part of the island to stay because of the beaches.
