We don’t cope well with intense heat, so a summer trip is out, which leaves us deciding between a spring and an autumn departure. We’d love to get the desert and the cities at their most comfortable. For those who’ve been in those shoulder seasons, did one feel noticeably better than the other?
As a Northern European, I am not made for the heat at all so I feel you!
Personally I would go for mid to late Autumn as the weather is much calmer and it can heat up a lot in Spring.
In case you would even consider a late Winter trip, I visited in February, and it was just a little over 20’C and cooled down quite nicely at night, but I think there are more sandstorms and things as we move closer to Summer, which is worth bearing in mind!
I also think the desert is the best in Autumn!
