Hi!
Me and my husband are thinking of doing a 4-5 day trip through the Belgium countryside this spring. We love the idea of biking from town to town, drinking beer and eating chocolate, but we aren’t exactly “cyclists” (we ride maybe twice a year at home and are definitely not in top shape lol). I know the Netherlands is super flat, but is Belgium the same? Or are we going to be struggling up hills? Just trying to figure out if we need e-bikes or if regular ones are fine for casual riding.

Hi @trevor !
I’ve been to Flanders, and while I haven’t cycled there, my friends who live there cycle all the time (and they love Belgian beer and chocolates haha!).
The region is mostly flat, with a few small hills, so you should be fine. And you’ll get discover some of Europe’s most charming cities, like Bruges and Ghent.
