Help me find the perfect trip for two completel different types of travellers

I’m currenly trying to plan our 2 week honeymoon but my fiance and I like completely different styles of trave. I much prefer to relax on the beach or at a beautiful hotel, sipping cocktails and reading a good book. He prefers to spend all day on his feet walking through a city, or trekking up a hill and making the most of the local cutlure etc. IS there somewhere we can go and get the best of both worlds and neither of us need to compromise? We have a fairly big budget!

Hey @alexandra , Thailand and Bali come to mind. You could start in Bangkok and visit Chiang Mai then head down to Koh Samui, Krabi or Phuket to finish off your trip if you choose Thailand. Alternatively, if you’re interested in Bali, you could visit Nusa Dua, Ubud and Seminyak.

Or, you could do both

I know there are many multi-day adventures that offer a good mix of the two travel styles, so having your itinerary organised by a professional with firsthand experience in the area might be your best bet!

First place that comes to mind would be Sri Lanka which has a nice mix of activities like surfing, hiking, culture as well as some amazing beaches to relax and chill out on.

oooo maybe try a multi-day adventure with a little less structure and more free time? That way you spend the morning doing what he wants, and the afternoon relaxing.
