I’ve seen quite a bit of western and central Europe, but I’d love to discover more of eastern Europe and its unique culture, landscapes and culinary scene. Any recommendations for short trips for couples? Pretty open to anything really - thanks in advance!

One place that I love is Croatia! Have you been? The people, the landscapes, the sea food, the vibes! In my last trip I’ve been to Zadar and I was surprised at how cool this little town is. There’s so much nature in the country and it’s such a picturesque place I’d go back anytime!
I would say a hidden gem in Eastern Europe that is very underrated is Romania! Bucharest is an amazing city that used to be called “Little Paris” in the past. You have classical European architecture as well as brutalist Communist era buildings like the Palace of the Parliament. If mountains and hiking are a thing you love, the Carpathian Mountain Range are a hidden spot for wildlife and one of the only spots left in Europe to see wild brown bears! ![]()
