I am heading to Barcelona in early March to catch up with a friend. I’ve already done the major touristic stuff, this is my third trip there.
Any suggestions for off the beaten track experiences? Restaurants? Bars? Any tips from locals?
Thanks,
Alberto

Perhaps explore the hidden streets of Gràcia for something of a ‘small town feel’ within the greater Barcelona, complete with narrow streets, cosy plazas, and a somewhat slower pace.
Almost every street in Gràcia is a shopping street, but some stand out. Carrer Gran de Gràcia is a great starting point for bustling shops and dining options.
The neighbourhood is sometimes called ‘Barri del Joier’ (Jeweller’s quarter).
For foodies, there are some excellent paella and rice places over on Carrer de Sènec.
For an authentic experience exploring the charming Gràcia neighbourhood, I suggest a guided or self-guided walking tour that focuses on the local culture, history, and hidden gems of this bohemian area.
