Why visit Egypt - which part of it pulls you in the most?

am most drawn to the Pyramids of Giza because of their incredible ancient—

The ancient history and the Nile would be the biggest draw for me. There’s something magical about seeing places that have stood for thousands of years and experiencing Egypt beyond the famous landmarks. :camel::sparkles:

I did Egypt 5 years ago and enjoyed most of it. I did a cruise up the Nile to Abu simbal stopping in Luxor. Saw all the tombs in the valley of the kings and of course the Egyptian museum in Cairo. Cairo was not my favorite as it is a big ugly city. It good to see all of this but my only piece of advice is only go in the winter! I went in may and thought I would pass out several times from the heat.

I would love to see The Pyramids of Giza and go on a Nile River cruise.

From the architectural precision of the Giza pyramids to the rich tapestry of Egyptian traditions, Egypt represents the ultimate intersection of ancient mystery and living culture. Standing before monuments that have outlasted millennia and experiencing the legendary warmth of Egyptian hospitality is at the top of my bucket list.

Great choices! Sailing the Nile at sunset to explore ancient temples is definitely at the top of my list—there’s nothing quite like taking in thousands of years of history from the water.

I have always been fascinated by Egypt’s unique landscape and abundance of ancient history and culture. The construction of the pyramids alone is interesting. I would love to learn more.

I was the luckiest young girl to visit Cairo when I was 8 years old, 2x! We were living in Tripoli - Living overseas ( many years)was one of the biggest highlights of my life. To be able to share with my son or daughter is/ would be a gift. Valley of the Kings, Luxor wow - classic . The history here, to just be in the present of it… 61 yo & Ready!

I played Age of Empires as a kid studied Egypt in college and was always fascinated by their concept of the underworld and the rich ancient history. To see the pyramids and the sphinx in real life would be unbelievable.

To have the chance to see the Total Solar Eclipse in Luxor!
