Why is Morocco on your bucket list?

Morocco has always been in my wish list destination. I would love to visit Fez and the other nice cities full of history and traditions.
May this dream come true!

Morocco has already left a lasting impression on me after visiting Marrakech and Agadir—especially Marrakech, which felt like nowhere else I’ve ever been. The atmosphere, the colours, the sounds of the souks… it’s incredible that somewhere so different is just a short trip from home.

That’s exactly why it’s still on my bucket list. I’d love the chance to go deeper and experience more of what the country has to offer. Exploring the vast dunes of the Sahara Desert, spending a night under the stars, and seeing a completely different side of Morocco beyond the cities would be unforgettable.

I’m also excited by the idea of discovering hidden gems and quieter landscapes—places that show a different pace of life and culture. Morocco feels like a country you can return to again and again, always finding something new, and I’d love to continue that journey.

Morocco has been on my bucket list for a long time, probably from watching television and film. I think its proximity to Spain and the long intertwined history makes it a unique bridge between old and new.

I lived in Marrakech for five weeks a couple of years ago, and I’ve visited Rabat, Essaouira, and Casablanca besides. I’m about to visit Agadir. I love the culture and the food.

I visited Morocco a few years ago and is one of my most enjoyed countries and memories, however my wife wasn’t able to accompany me that time so I would love to revisit and share memories with her. Although I’m not sure she will enjoy being trapped in the Atlas Mountains with snow and floods as much as I did

Sahara Desert and Casablanca, notably the Hassan II Mosque and Tangier if poosible. Ideally a long stay would be perfect to be able to see and experience so much more in Morocco.

Morocco is amazing! The scenery, the food, from the seashore to the Atlas Mountains to the desert, glamping, beautiful hotels, friendly people, French is one of the local languages.

I had a very brief visit to Morocco 3 years ago but we could not make it to the Atlas Mountains so I would love to try a longer, more involved tour in the future!

Looks like Morocco is on everyone’s bucket list lately  Since I’ll be hosting a Morocco trip in October, I’m even more excited every time I read posts like this. We’ve spent a lot of time working on the route and timing, and I really think Morocco deserves at least 6–7 days to experience it properly: Dunes & Dynasties: 7 days The Heart of Morocco with Fatma by Timeless Tours - TourRadar

I think some people are mixing up the ‘April Community Contest’ with the ‘Morocco Bucket List’ Giveaway; Private 5-day Casablanca to Marrakech via Fes and Desert with Cultural Morocco Tours.

The thread is currently at 55 posts.

If you’re not the lucky winner, where would you choose to go next?

Morocco is on my bucket list because it has Africa’s only high-speed rail line!

Morocco deserves a spot on your bucket list for one simple reason: it feels like stepping into a completely different world—without needing to travel halfway across the globe. It’s rich, layered, vibrant, and deeply soulful.

Hello! My name is Cathleen Clark and my husband and I have been to many beautiful and unique places. We have traveled throughout Europe and loved every minute of it. But we have never experienced Morocco and that is my ultimate dream. I’ve always wanted to visit Morocco just to wander around and take it all in—the beautiful buildings, the amazing food, and the sound of daily prayers echoing through the streets. I’d love to check out all the colorful art and designs and just soak up the history and culture that make the place feel so unique. I think the history of the region, especially the Atlas Mountains, would be so wonderful! Thank you
