Why is Morocco on your bucket list?

Man! Since I was a teen in the 1970’s, my English friends always talked about Morocco and how incredibly beautiful it is. As a retired chef can smell the spice markets when I see pictures. I would love to smell them in person.

Morocco isn’t just a destination—it’s an experience that awakens every sense. From the cultural richness of Fes and Marrakech to the architectural beauty of Hassan II Mosque, every moment tells a story.

The blue charm of Chefchaouen, the magic of the Sahara Desert, and the breathtaking contrast from coastline to the Atlas Mountains make it truly unforgettable.

Morocco stretches you, inspires you, and stays with you long after you leave.

As a Travel Advisor, I’m excited to experience it firsthand and share its magic with my clients—creating meaningful journeys and lasting memories.

Morocco is on my bucket list for the simple reason I love star gazing. From a young age in Barbados the stars have been my comfort. I look at them when I’m sad, upset or in need of inspiration. Looking up at them from the sands , hotel, camel, diner table, tent in Morocco would be a dream come true and also my first international flight out of the Caribbean!!

As Morocco is not on my bucket list, I guess I won’t win the ‘free trip’. Good luck to the rest of you.

The Movie Casablanca peaked my initial interest in Morocco. However since that time, I have developed a keener interest in seeing additional places like Marrakesh and Fez due to the exotic experiences and cultural diversity presented by these places. Even though I am allergic to camels, I want to ride one through the desert(sneezing al the way)

Morocco made it on my bucket list after my parents went on a ten day trip and then couldn’t stop talking about it. Sometimes they can be picky, but they’ve traveled a lot and Morocco is a trip they keep coming back to.

Looks like Morocco is on everyone’s bucket list lately  Since I’ll be hosting a Morocco trip in October, I’m even more excited every time I read posts like this. We’ve spent a lot of time working on the route and timing, and I really think Morocco deserves at least 6–7 days to experience it properly : Dunes & Dynasties: 7 days The Heart of Morocco with Fatma by Timeless Tours - TourRadar

Morocco is on my list for two reasons:

  1. I am a textile enthusiast, and
  2. I would like to talk with the local people and practice my French and Arabic.

Morocco earns a spot on my bucket list, because it feels like stepping into several worlds at once. Ancient medinas, sweeping deserts, mountain villages and coastal cities all coexist in a way that’s hard to find anywhere else. It’s the kind of place where you can wander through a maze-like souk in the morning, sip mint tea on a rooftop at sunset and fall asleep under Saharan stars that look almost unreal.

Morocco seems like lovely culture and food that I would love to explore! It also looks like it’s beautiful there! I’ve never been to Africa and I feel like that would be the first country there I would explore.

Probably a romantic at heart, I’ve wanted to visit Casablanca for a very long time. The busyness of the souks to the quiet of a night at the Sahara would be magical. Experiencing a different culture and a different place in our world helps connect us. This would be a wonderful adventure.

I love travelling and Morocco has a mysticism that really atracts me!! :star_struck:

Among the reasons to inlcude Morocco in my bucket list I can name: the opportunity to know about their culture and antique traditions, to visit historical places, some of them called like Unesco World Heritage Sites, to enjoy their gastronomy, to see their unique architecture, to visit the Sahara Desert, and for sure the chance to know new people and share new life experiences and why not to create real and long friendships.

:hugs:
