Which Iceland landmark would you most want to see with your own eyes?

Iceland packs a lot of landmarks into one island, and a loop around the Ring Road takes in many of them: the thundering Gullfoss and Dettifoss waterfalls, the Strokkur geyser shooting into the air, icebergs drifting in Jökulsárlón, the black sands of Reynisfjara and the lava formations of Dimmuborgir.

We’d love to hear which one you’d pick, whether you’ve been lucky enough to see it in person or it’s still on your wishlist. Tell us your landmark and what draws you to it.

The black sands of Reynisfjara and the thundering Gullfoss and Dettifoss waterfalls would be my picks. I’d love to see the black sand stretching along the coast and then experience the sound and power of those waterfalls in person.

My sister has recently returned from Iceland and sent us some great pictures while they were there.

We have plenty of waterfalls in Switzerland but visiting Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss would be awesome.

With so much to see and do in Iceland (volcanoes, geysers, hot springs, lava fields, glaciers, and waterfalls), I’d have to plan my visit around the longest day in the year - June 21st - and soak in the Blue Lagoon.

I’d love to see Gullfoss and Dettifoss waterfalls!

I’d love to see Jökulsárlón with my own eyes. The floating icebergs look unreal, and it seems like one of those places that feels even more magical in person. It’s definitely at the top of my Iceland bucket list.

The Blue Lagoon and the black sand beach at Reynisfjara! It’s amazing how centuries of volcanic activity have shaped the landscape.

There are so many things I’d have on my list 1) Blue Lagoon, 2) Faxafloi Bay & 3) Gullfoss Waterfall all of these as they are natural wonders!

Quite honestly, I want to see it all the thundering Gullfoss and Dettifoss waterfalls, the Strokkur geyser shooting into the air, icebergs drifting in Jökulsárlón, the black sands of Reynisfjara and the lava formations of Dimmuborgir, BUT if I must choose just one, I pick the icebergs drifting in Jökulsárlón!

Since I discovered iceland through Chris Burkard, the photographer, I’ve always wanted to go and surf the icy waters Iceland has to offer. But to just see the amazing nature and wonders is a dream.

I would like to see the Bridge Between Continents. A footbridge on the Reykjanes peninsula that spans the rift between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, letting you walk from one continent to the other. It also is an area of Volcanos and lava fields. This is a unique experience that I would like to do.

The Strokkur geyser is my choice, spectacular

Definitely the thundering Gullfoss and Dettitoss waterfalls! And icebergs would be awesome.

I would love to see black sands of Reynisfjara and the thundering Gullfoss and Dettifoss waterfalls would be my picks
