What’s the one thing on your Vietnam travel wishlist you’re most excited about?

I really want to see the ancient city of Hue.

I haven’t been to Vietnam before, so honestly the thing I’m most excited for is experiencing the atmosphere of everyday life there — the street food, the night markets, the music, the cafés, and just exploring somewhere completely different from home. I’d love to wake up early in Hanoi for authentic pho, see the lanterns in Hoi An at night, and experience the culture beyond just the tourist spots. It feels like one of those trips that would stay with you forever.

I’d like to try everithing, talk with every body And See al we can…

Exploring the Cu Chi tunnels

I am most excited to visit Da Nang because of its beautiful beaches, clear water, and relaxing atmosphere. I also want to see its famous bridges and enjoy the peaceful city vibe.

A scooter road trip, rent a small scooter and just travel south to north, I did it in the past and it is one of my most beloved travel memories from Asia overall.

How about cycle-touring in Vietnam?

Enjoy trying food a visiting attractions

Top of my bucket list! I would love to take kids to experience this beautiful country. So many aussies are raving about it right now and top of the list of things to do… the ho chi minh city street food tour by motorbike… so much fun!!

I’d probably pick cruising through Ha Long Bay at sunrise. The combination of limestone karsts, misty water, floating fishing villages, and overnight junk boats feels unlike almost anywhere else. It’s one of those places that seems both cinematic and quiet at the same time.

Close second: wandering the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An Ancient Town at night and eating as much cao lầu and bánh mì as possible.

And for pure food excitement, sitting on tiny plastic stools in Ho Chi Minh City eating fresh pho or bún thịt nướng from a street vendor would be hard to beat.

Daily Bahn Mis, pho and Vietnamese coffee…absolutely love Vietnamese food. Also, can’t wait to see the lanterns in Hoi An, complete the Ha Giang Loop and see the caves of Phong Nah one day!!

The caves of Phong Nha amongst other places and experiences

One of the top things on my Vietnam bucket list is visiting Hanoi’s famous Train Street and exploring the vibrant street markets :metro:

The experience of being in the Cu Chi tunnels, and the Halong Bay cruise.

Floating through the coconut forests of Hoi An in one of those little basket boats looks incredible!

I visited Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi last month, and Vietnam instantly became one of my favorite destinations so far! I still miss the pho, banh mi, fresh fruit juices, and amazing seafood.

If I get the chance to go back, I’d love to visit Da Nang and Phu Quoc, and I would absolutely love to return to Sapa again. The scenery and experience there were unforgettable!

The history of Vietnam is something that I’d like to experience, together with the friendly people who now live there in peace.

The food, the colours, the history - Halong Bay is on my bucket list.

Eating Pho again in Hanoi

I haven’t been to Vietnam yet. But according to my friends who have, that I should try the food, the train tracks adventure, and the cool climate of Sapang!
