I’m looking for the best place in Europe to go skiing/snowboarding in January 2026? We are looking for some epic mountains and some great Apres Ski - anyone have any tips?

I have a bit of a bias here as I live in Austria, but have been to a few different places in Europe and for me nothing beats Austria still.
Best vibe and some amazing mountains pretty much everywhere. There are 390+ ski resorts here. If you want one of the best places, head to Zell Am See - Kaprun. You get a lot of different resorts on the Alpin Card. It is kind of insane because it is 400KM+ of groomed slopes and access to 6 ski areas and 121 lifts and cable cars.
I might be a bit biased for sure here, but I spent 3 seasons in the area in the last few years and it is by far one of the best places I have been for snowboarding.
Another snow sure place in Austria is Obertauern, which I can also highly recommend… and that is just Salzburg, haven’t talked about Tirol 
yet, so just come over to Austria and enjoy
