What are your bucket list destinations for 2026?

I’m excited to start planning my travels for 2026  What is on everyone’s 2026 travel bucket list?

For me:

  • Egypt in January - this has been on my bucket list for years (booking a tour during Black Friday!!)
  • Iceland is way up there - seeing Pyramids and Aurora Borealis in one year would be a dream!:crossed_fingers: (maybe in November?)
  • If I can manage/afford it, I would love a quick trip to Geneva in Switzerland!

What a bucketlist!!! @ck_explorer1000
I saw that you mentioned Switzerland, make sure to visit also the mountains (Grindelwald for example).

I always plan my trips waaaayyy ahead so I have everything booked already and 2026 is the year for JAPAN in March/April.

Have the best time exploring in 2026!

Maybe not a destination, but I’m considering a River Cruise for the first time. Possibly the North of the Rhine as it’s been an age since I was in Amsterdam and it would be cool to step into Belgium and Cologne.
Does this mean I’m getting old? :older_person:
I’ve definitely been influenced by a couple of posts I’ve seen on social media, but it seems like a novel way of traveling and I love the water. :passenger_ship:
I’m keeping an eye on Black Friday deals and if I see a great deal then I might just go for it. And then start collecting my pension

Also considering a train trip through France, Switzerland and Italy but the logistics aren’t easy!

The parks are amazing in Tokyo. The people are very silent, respectful and kind. Toilets are incredibly clean and comfortable. People always wait for each other and always in a que even while crossing the street.
