Taipei 3 nights enough for night markets + Jiufen day trip?

Quick one. I have a layover situation where I can spend 3 nights in Taipei in November. Is that enough to hit Shilin + Raohe night markets, do a Jiufen day trip, and maybe see the main museum? Or am I kidding myself and need to cut something. Don’t want to just power through if it’ll feel rushed.

Yes, three nights in Taipei is enough to do Shilin, Raohe, Jiufen, and the National Palace Museum without feeling rushed, as long as you pace it right.

You do not need to cut anything.

Everything is in Taipei except Jiufen, so transit is minimal.

Night markets don’t require daytime hours, so they don’t eat into sightseeing time.

Jiufen is a single, contained day trip; no need to combine it with anything else.

The museum is flexible; you can spend two hours or four depending on your appetite for culture.
