Planning a coastal drive from Nice to Biarritz next June. Not sure if this is a 5 day thing or a 10 day thing. We want to stop in smaller towns (not just the big names), eat well, and take our time.
Thinking maybe Nice, stop in Cassis or Bandol, maybe Collioure, then Carcassonne (inland detour worth it?), and end in Biarritz. Is this route even logical or am I looking at the map wrong? Has anyone driven this and can tell me what they’d add or skip? We have a max of 8 days for this leg.
