My family are a group of 23 passengers and we are planning to do the trek to Machu Picchu. We have read the recent reports from last week that state that safety and security is a big issue and UNESCO is planning to remove the status for Machu Picchu because of civil unrest in the country. Do you think by December of 2025 the situation will improve and we can do the trek?

Hi! I don’t have that answer unfortunately but I was wondering because I can’t get my family of 5 to agree on a local trip I can’t imagine 23 going on an international travel! May I ask how do you get to organize for everyone? Tips are appreciated it!
