My husband and I are planning to travel to Italy next October to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We’re both big foodies, so we want to try as many dishes as possible. We also love wine and Aperol Spritz, so wine tastings and a cooking class are a must for our itinerary. I’m also a bit of a history geek, so visiting museums and historical sites is high on my list. We’ll have two weeks off work and are wondering if someone could suggest a good itinerary that combines food and wine experiences with historical highlights.
Same here! I’ve been to Italy many times on my own, tried lots of dishes but never really been on a culinary tour before.
I’ve considered to book this tour for a while Italy Real Food Adventure (from Venice to Rome) by Intrepid Travel with 10 Tour Reviews - TourRadar - it has that mix of culinary-history vibe but what I love is that they are experts at that and they know exactly where to take you with no stress and no prior reservation needed!
If you don’t mind joining a group, this could be a good option - but you can also take it as inspiration and plan it yourself!
Wow a tour just focused on food? Sign me up! Thanks for sharing @micatravels
I’m on a culinary trip in Solento (the “heel” of Italy) and it’s amazing. Every region has different cuisine and Solento is amazing. There is a lot of sea food in this area. If you prefer steak, then Florence would be the place. My current tour is “The taste of Solento” and I could t be happier
That sounds amazing @traveler_582479 - is this the tour you are on Taste of Salento-Authentic Culinary Experience by Soleto Travel with 76 Tour Reviews - TourRadar ?
