Going to Naples for 2 days in November and literally the only reason is to eat pizza and everything else. I see food tours on Viator for like 80 euros per person but part of me thinks I should just wander around Spaccanapoli and eat whatever looks good.
For those who’ve done both, is a guided food tour actually worth it in Naples or is the city so food-forward that you can’t really go wrong on your own? I don’t need someone to take me to Da Michele, I can find that myself. I want the random nonna frying stuff in a side alley that I’d never find otherwise.
