Going on a guided tour of Morocco and I’m trying to figure out the best way to have data on my phone. I keep seeing eSIM recommended (Airalo, Holafly, etc.) but honestly the whole concept confuses me a bit.
Is it actually as easy as they say? Just scan a QR code and you have data? Does it work alongside my regular US plan or do I have to switch something off? And does it work well enough for Google Maps and WhatsApp or is it patchy? I’m 58 and reasonably tech savvy but not exactly an early adopter.
