Hi! I will be going to Jordan soon, would love read a bit more about the history of the country, hard facts or a novel that touches the history of Jordan. Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I haven’t read this myself but have heard of a book called “Married to a Bedouin”, which is written by a woman from New Zealand who married a Bedouin man in Petra and became part of their community.
It might not be exactly about the history of Jordan but would give a great insight into the local Bedouin life an culture, which could also be great to learn about before your trip.
