Best National Park to See the Great Migration?

I really want to do a safari and see the Great Migration. I am thinking of traveling in May and was wondering which National Park or Park in general would be best to see the Great Migration around that time? Will it be the Serengeti? My understanding is that the animals are constantly moving, and there is also a time when they are calving. Will this be happening around May? Any input is really appreciated!

I believe peak migration months are June to October and the Serengeti is definitely the best park to see it. You are right they are always on the move but I believe these months are heading into the dry season so that is when the gather to head north.

But honestly anytime you go is amazing. Also don’t hesitate to try camping. I did it with Intrepid Travel and it sounds crazy but it was an incredible experience to be camping in the middle of the Serengeti. They work so closely with the parks and their guides are extremely experienced so I always felt safe. Nothing can top that experience
