Bari (Puglia), Italy, is a less-travelled destination

Puglia is truly a wonderful part of Italy. My favorites were Baia dei Turchi and Monopoli. But above all, I loved the overall atmosphere - the small Italian food shops, cafés, and the general vibe.

@admin @ShellCollector @Pondererpagla taly has so many layers that it really depends on how you like to travel – and that’s what makes this category great.

Besides the classic routes like Tuscany, Rome or the Amalfi Coast, I think Puglia deserves a special mention. It’s one of those regions that still feels very authentic:
whitewashed towns, olive groves, simple but incredible food, and a much slower pace compared to northern Italy. Places like Alberobello, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare or Lecce are perfect if you enjoy local life, long dinners and exploring at your own rhythm.

Puglia also works really well for travelers who prefer less touristy, more experience-driven trips, especially outside peak summer. Renting a car and moving between small towns makes a big difference there.

Italy truly has something for every travel style – from fast-paced city trips to slow, food-focused regions like Puglia.
