I travelled to Morocco in 2022 as soon as Australia allowed travel after COVID. It was part of a two and half month trip in Northern Africa, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt and Morocco was my last destination! I had booked the 15 days Morocco Encompassed tour through TourRadar! As the tour name states you go from the bustling cities of Casablanca and Marrakech, to the ancient, chaotic medinas in cities Marrakech and Fes; to driving through the silent, vast Sahara Desert where you can stay in a Berber camp overnight, to exploring the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, to listening to the call to prayer on a roof top in the blue pearl Chefchaouen in the Riff Mountains; experiencing a home stay in the picturesque holy Islamic hilltop town of Moulay Idriss before seeing the close by Roman ruins of Volubilis, making couscous with an elder village woman in Aït Benhaddou, and my favourite is the little colorful fishing sea side gem of Essaouira where the Medina abounds with artist shops! The contrasts of this amazing country will have you craving more and I have not even touched on the people, culture and food which will awaken your senses and appetite.
Experiencing Morocco again is a need!!

Morocco has been on my wish list for years… now its also my husbands desire to visit. I would really like to surprise him with a little get away without our kids to visit the beauty nature & culture of this warm and colorful country.

Its on my bucket list because it is so culturally different from anywhere else I’ve been. I loved Thailand and it was an exciting change from places I have seen. Casablanca and Marrakesh sound so exciting and I want to learn new things in new ways.
