I love Cape Town and table mountain and the surrounding vine yards! I’d safe the safari for Botswana!
An African safari was something I dreamt about when a child, it was just a trip that seemed so far out of reach , and I still haven’t been to South Africa. But now it is so much more accessible and easier to travel there.
My husband and I are planning to visit next year. We have been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places in the world and are looking for a totally unique experience. We have seen beaches and vineyards but know that we will only be able to experience the big 5 and safaris in Africa. Once in a lifetime experience xxxx
I’d choose the Big Five game drives. There’s something special about experiencing South Africa through its wildlife and the landscapes they’ve lived in for generations. Seeing elephants, lions and other animals in their natural surroundings, while learning about the local land and conservation, would be an unforgettable way to experience the country.
Definitely game park! I’ve always wanted to see the awesome animals in the wild- just like on a David Attenborough documentary!

Did kruger this year but didn’t see the leopard! Need to go back to see the last of thr big 5

Safari for sure!!! There’s so much about Africa, but its biodiversity is so unique that I’d do that first.
I would love to go on Safari in South Africa.
We’re talking about a country that has a certain sense of majesty and timelessness that really doesn’t compare to the rest of the world to see such animals in such incredible Landscapes would be one of the few ways to truly feel alive and experience such an incredible part of the world.
Seeing the great five is on our bucket list for sure. Love to see Victoria falls as well. It would be a dream adventure.
Would always pick safari, but the Cape Winelands looks amazing as well. Why not pick both?

I’ve been on a day safari when visiting my niece in Malawi, but a long safari has been on my bucket list for a long, long time. I’d also stop and visit my niece on the way there or on the way back. She is a humanitarian worker in Malawi.
I’m lucky enough to have been to Africa before, but the Addo National Park looks spectacular, so that would be my choice: the combination of wild scenery, the coast and the wildlife would be heavenly surely.

Honestly? I’d go with the safari — Big Five game drives and Addo. I know the Garden Route and the Winelands are gorgeous, and Table Mountain is iconic, but you can find beautiful coastlines and wine country in a lot of places. Seeing elephants, lions, and rhinos in the wild is something you really can’t do just anywhere. For a first trip, that feels like the thing that would stick with me forever. I’d rather come home with those memories than wish I’d made time for it.

Seeing wildlife in its natural habitat feels like the kind of experience that makes a first trip to South Africa really special. The wine and coast can be enjoyed in plenty of places, but waking up in the bush and spotting elephants or lions would be unforgettable.
