Definitely a safari! In particular a photo safari. I would love to see the animals in their natural habitat.

A difficult choice as Addo is nice too but Big 5 , garden route and Tablemountain are the must
Safari, you can drink wine anywere. If i go toAfrica i want to see crocodiles, rhinos and the rest.
Would love to experience a Big Five game drive and the elephants of Addo in South Africa. We have had experiences in many countries with TourRadar and the local guides and excursions have always been outstanding.

We did SA last year and were able to fit in 3 drives, the Garden Route and Table Mountain into our 13 day trip. It was one of the most amazing things we have ever done. If I could only pic one to concentrate on, I would pick the game drives, but stay at a camp and completely immerse!
Well it’s been a very long time since I’ve been on a safari, I’ve never had the pleasure and chance of seeing the Big 5 in a different country. So I would definitely want to see that plus the beach to wind down. We can also take a day on the roof of the world, on this side of the world, on top of table mountain.

My wife has always been fascinated by elephants. Hands down win for the tour witnessing the elephants of Addo.
Has to be Safari! I visited almost 10 years ago, and had an incredible experience at Addo Elephant Park. 
But I didn’t get to see any of the rest of the big 5, and that would definitely be at the top of the list!
Always thought Safari would be a great experience
Several trips. South Africa is a big country so I’d like to maximise the each time I have there, and have a quality trip rather than rush things and not get anything of value out of it.
Definitely the coastline
If I had to choose just one “first‑trip” pillar of South Africa, I’d go straight for the Big Five — elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. There’s something elemental about a true safari: the early‑morning chill, the quiet tension of scanning the bush, and that electric moment when a shape becomes an animal you’ve only ever seen in documentaries.
It’s the part of South Africa that feels the most transformative. Landscapes are beautiful everywhere — coastlines, winelands, mountains — but seeing the Big Five is the experience that rewires your sense of scale and place in the world.
African safari
I’ve been to Cape Town once before, and absolutely loved it! I did not get to do any game driving while I was there, however, so that would be a new experience for me.
I have been once before, but did not get to do a safari at that time. The winelands were fantastic, and I would love to visit them again as well.
