Help! I only have 6 days in New Zealand want to make sure I maximise my time there. I am from the US and heading over, I am just stopping off in New Zealand on my way over to Australia. I am spending 6 weeks in Australia. In Aus I am doing AIrlie Beach, Brisbane, driving to Sydney, then Melbourne and then over to Perth. I would like to see landscapes in New Zealand that will differ to those I may see in Australia. I’ve heard Queenstown is beautiful but it also looks quite pricey as a solo traveller.

Hi @tom!
NZ is a relatively small country, so you can see a fair bit in 6 days. The whole of NZ is quite different to Australia landscapes anyway, but for the most stunning scenery the South Island around Queenstown is probably the most different/iconic.
If you;re on a budget, you could consider camping - this 6 day tour camps and sees some prime NZ locations! Wild West from Queenstown - Top rated by National Geographic by Flying Kiwi with 10 Tour Reviews (Code: WW6) - TourRadar
