We love the sound of Spain but we’re early-to-bed sorts, and the 9pm dinners and shuttered afternoons have us wondering how a tour day actually shapes up. Does the schedule bend to Spanish hours, or keep things earlier for the group?
Most tours will adapt to the group and tend to schedule meals earlier than locals would. That said, Spanish hours are very much part of the experience and honestly not as extreme as you might fear! You’d typically start with sightseeing in the morning, enjoy a longer lunch break in the afternoon, and have dinner around 7:30–8pm. All very manageable, even for early-to-bed travelers
