The high-mountain trips look glorious but also pricey and very much at the mercy of the weather. If a tour gives us the choice or a free day, we’d like to spend it on the right one. Which summit lived up to it for you, and which would you skip?
Do you like hiking?
For me, it’s not always about the summit but the seeing and doing; where the views are simply stunning and the mountain restaurants a real treat.
With that said, the options are limited. I think I might have to write an article about some of my best hiking experiences in Switzerland.

I did a one-day tour up to Jungfraujoch, and loved every minute of it! It was a fun journey by train, the view was amazing, and the way back down gives you such a picturesque experience of Switzerland.
