First trip to Norway, about a week, and I’m overwhelmed by the fjord names - Geiranger, Naeroyfjord, the Lofoten islands, plus Bergen and Oslo. If you were picking where to spend a week, which would make your list and which are overrated? We’d rather go deep than rush the map. ---

For a first trip, I would choose Geirangerfjord. It is one of the most impressive fjords in Norway and a great choice if you only have a week. ---

Geiranger yes, Lofoten yes, also Lyaefjorden. I would say all the places on yoy3 lust except Oslo is good for nature. If you want culture, museums etc visit Oslo, if not choose western and or northern Norway. (I AM Norwegian!)
