Have any of you ever done a tour as a single person solo?

Sure did! And I had a blast! I also connected with fellow travellers and found a travel buddy for an upcoming trip. Highly recommend.

I haven’t done a solo tour yet, but I’d actually like to try it. Travelling alone sounds fun

I’ve had a day at the start or end of a trip with friends where I’m completely alone and to be honest I kind of love it.
The first time I was alone I felt really insecure, but then I realized I was in a foreign place, where nobody knew me and I could do whatever I wanted. Suddenly felt completely free!
If I had more time for travel I would definitely do it again!
Or do you mean join a group tour as one single person, in which case no, but it does sound like an incredible way to meet like minded people!

I travelled solo to a concert last year and honestly think it’s one of the best ways to meet people — even more so than traveling with friends. You naturally connect with other solo travelers and those connections feel really special. There’s also something very liberating about being in a new place with no agenda and complete freedom to do whatever you want. You make the most of your own time and, in a way, you get to know yourself a little better too.

I’ve also done an organised group tour as a solo traveller and it was just amazing. You’re suddenly surrounded by people from completely different backgrounds and cultures who already have one thing in common with you — the love of travel. Sharing those experiences together while getting to know each other is something really unique. Highly recommend both!
